What are the team sizes and fees?

 

A: Team and individual player fees vary by sport/location.

Each sport has a standard team size. The standard team size is the minimum number of roster spots that are expected to be filled. There is not a maximum number of roster spots on a team. However, there is a $15 fee for every player over the standard roster size.

Once a player signs/accepts the online invitation and roster/waiver they count toward the roster size, even if they do not play once or ever again. Players can be replaced once they are on a team through the roster cut-off date.

If a team needs FREE AGENTS added, please email dayton.info@sportsmonster.net and we will try to find players for you. Any player placed by Sports Monster on non-individual teams will be charged the free agent fee and that amount minus a $15 admin fee will be credited to the team.

Why exactly am I paying for when signing up?

 

A: You are paying the program experience as advertised in each description. This usually includes facility rental, scheduling, staffing and necessary equipment.

 

 

What is the deadline for payment?

 

A: Individual player payments are due upon registration. Team’s provide a $50 down payment at time of registration. Full team balance is due in full on/by the second scheduled match and is the captain’s responsibility for any outstanding balance not paid by team members already.

 

If you have a team sponsorship, the captain is still responsible for full team payment on/by the second scheduled match. However, if a payment is made to Sports Monster at any time for your team by a third party, we will process payment and provide a corresponding refund in the next week.

 

Do registration fees include shirts or can I order shirts?

 

A: Individual registrants receive shirts when listed in the league description. For sports where same color shirts are required, teams may supply their own or order through us at $10/shirt.
